WHAT IS MAN WITHOUT THE BEASTS? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. ~Chief Seattle VISIT MY GALLERY

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

thanks all: bromiliads are parasitic.....so it's location is natural....:) We have many varieties...some we call air plants....and I THINK { may be wrong} but think Spanish Moss may be related to the air plants we have. The blooming bromiliads are not as destructive as the spanish moss and air plant variety.

Love the colour contrasts in this one.

Add in the textures ... now you are really speaking to me.

This is quite a profound shot in my eyes. For such a beautiful flower, the fact that it is parasitic ... is a thought provoking juxtaposition of what the mind sees.

Uh ... next time ... can I take out your rubbish bin? Think there are some real treasures in there. Really nice work. :o)
