I used to put together, decorate, and furnish 1:12 scale dollhouses, until I ran of room. This is one room of a two room dollhouse shadowbox, with a contented couple sitting by the fireside with pets, pipe, and good book. I think I'll show the upper story next. This small shadowbox is my only remaining dollhouse. Comments welcome. Oh, by the way, dimensions of this little room: about 12" wide, 7 1/2" high, and 5 1/2" deep.

This is just great! Love all the details...especially the pets! And the carpet is even curled up a little on the left side, and the wood in the fireplace looks real! This is precious! I can't wait to see the upper story.

This is a beautiful job Leslie. Very well put together. The colourful couple and all the details look Lovely. Also the photo has good depth and shows the interior of the room very well.

You do beautiful work Lesley - I know it is harder working with items so tiny. How You managed to do all the artwork and candles, etc. is beyond me. It makes a lovely display and You've photographed it beautifully.
