I'm glad that trusting us with the knowledge of your loss meant that you were comforted. It's a wonderful community we have here, and I'm glad if I was able to help in some small way, Marilyn. Thanks for the lovely spring flowers.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. COME ON YOU GREENS, UP THE ARGYLE.....

My Dear Marilyn: Leave it to you to be so kind to all of us during the time of your loss. You are by far the gentlest woman on here. So good to all of us. I am so sorry for your loss. There is a time for grieving and a time to allow new doors to open for us at a time like this.Loss changes life at the root of things, and life is never the same again. But we always hold close to us the memories we share with those we loved and lost. That is the gift left to us.The love we shared is something that will always be there of course.I know you will be comforted by your family and friends, and as time goes on, peace will be with you more and more. There is so much we don't understand, but our Creator has given us so much to love. And You, my dear friend, give us all such beautiful flowers and colours so many many times. You share yourself and I for one am very thankful there are people as yourself here. You are a special person, and I am very thankful I know you and that we are friends..take very good care of yourself and let time heal your sadness...and soon the memories you hold dear to you will hold your hand..just know you are precious and I love your wonderful postings here...Verena

To all of the above...

The kind and generous people… and to all those who have sent to me their wonderful words of sharing via PMs…I offer my sincere and humble gratitude! Your words have made life and the acceptance of my daughter’s passing…just a little bit easier…for this...I am deeply grateful…

A friend... (Verena)...'above'... said to me recently…that a loss such as this... changes life…at the ‘root’ of things…and life is never quite the same again! I find this to be very, very true… even though a parent may see this event forth coming…know it to be inevitable... when it's time finally arrives…we learn that we are totally unprepared…Nonetheless…I will find the courage to move forward…for there is still much to do….and many blessings to be had!

Thank you again...my sweet friends...;o)

Marilyn

An interesting thing happened to me the other day...when I was asked by an aquaintance..."how many children do you have"? I replied hastily the number six...thought for a monent and then suddenly remembered...and very sadly so....the number was now five...was no longer six...the feeling that came over me....was not then.... and is not now... easily described!! An after thought......................

A lovely floral image from a most lovely lady. Ms Marilyn, you still have six children. Death can not rob you of that person. Her spirit lives on in your family and her soul has move to a new home. One day you will be reunited with her and your husband. Cherish the remaining 5 and any grand children that you have. Live life and remember to stop to smell the flowers.

My dear, dear Marilyn...I have just found out of your terrible loss and hasten to offer you my deepest sympathy....At such a time,it seems vain to try to express one's feelings, they are too overwhelming. But you may derive some tiny grain of comfort in knowing that there are friends near you and afar who can share your sorrow...Believe me I am deeply grieved.
It does seem that the world is a heartless place, but now that it is over, there should some small ray of comfort in knowing that your precious daughter is free from pain and suffering.
Marilyn, please forgive these few words...it expresses my sorrow very poorly....I mean far more than I can write.
Yours very sincerely....Mick.
