Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

8-(. How it was possible to you to photograph and survive??? Well you are simply extreme! Here it is a shot! Is more tremendous. The small house though has remained the whole as a result?
Andrey
I'm not sure you did anything to the image after taking it, but this shot is most impressive. That is one wild weather shot and the house looks like it's under attack. The contrast of lights and darks is wonderful. Faved this beauty.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Oh my goodness thats amazing. I am sure that I wouldnt have taken this picture, I would have been running away as ast as my legs could carry me. This has to be the best picture I have seen on this site in all my time here. Wonderful and going right into my faves.

"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
Marvellous imagery Darryl. At first I thought that the low cloud was smoke from a steam engine :-) It has a moody evocative look that reminds me of Lucy’s work.
Thanks in advance for everyone's kind words in regards to my pics. <a href="http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Caedes::Gallery&author=jodie38mader&page=1.
Wow..this is an outstanding image!! To me, its almost like the little house is daring that huge thundercloud to come mess with it!! You managed to capture a sort of peacefulness amongst the impending calamity (I didn't mean to sound all weird here!!), but very nicely done!! Right into the favs!
Sorry to all...I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to lately. I'm a 9 to 5er again (actually more like 8:15 to 7:30 these days!!) Don't worry, I still see all of your wonderful posts, if only for a second.
"To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
~ Henri Cartier-Bresson
What the hell were you thinking? This is dangerous Darryl, holy crap! Glad to hear that you are ok but holy crap! You must have been excited? Was Shannon with you? If not, I am sure she kicked your silly little butt all the way to that safe place we have talked about, lol. Amazing image, now smarten up and go back to your forest pics haha!
