This is a photo I took with my first point and shoot digital camera about 7 years ago. I've always liked it and thought since it was winter and we don't get snow I would post it anyway. Hope you like it.

A nice capture Mike. I like the brilliant green of the trees in the foreground slope. And a nice view down into the valley beyond. A lot of glare off the snow, but it does cast some nice shadows at the base of the trees. Thanks for sharing. ~Wendell

I think the picture itself is good: the composition, the diagonal line, etc. The only thing that I think could be very easily fixed is the cyan hue that dominates the image. This can be done with some playing around in freeware such as Gimp or even Irfanview.
