These flowers were chosen not to be taken home by others for Easter from the store. They were wilted and sad looking when I saw them. The store was closing for 36 hours and I heard the daisies whispering amongst themselves "they love us not" as I passed by. They are now in our home to celebrate the season and grace our table. They looked so proud, I felt they deserved to be shared with all my friends. We wish you a peaceful Easter Day. ;=) (no manip here..true colors!)

They put a smile on my face, Mimi. You can show us the beauty in in the most forlorn and misused (I really dislike when they add artificial color to the flowers.) I hope your Easter is full of joy, spent with family and friends in the special glow of the day.

They are pretty colors. I saw them in the supermarket too, but had to pass them up for azaleas for my mom to plant outside when the weather is warmer. I hope you had a wonderful Easter.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Hi Mimi, only you, my good friend, would think of bringing these aging little beauties to the table, what a delightful idea, and so very creative! Analogously, it is a perfect example of bringing life and purpose to, even a flower! Not dissimilar to that treatment hopefully given in real life to humanity. Often needed by many, and which serves as a much needed source of human strength, courage, and love, given one to another!! The kind of giving that perpetuates life, happiness, and the very will to live, in some cases! I applaud you Mimi, for putting my mind to work, and helping me to remember, what really counts! Good work my friend, good work! Sincerely, Marilyn

Wonderful composition here along with unusual yet very pleasing color combinations. Would make for an excellent desktop. I hear birds talking ... you hear flowers ... It's comforting to know I'm not the only oddball member around here. Very nice post.
