I took a hike in the Dolomite Alps this morning and came back with this posting. I often spend hours in these mountains, in all seasons and there is no shortage of subjects to photograph. These rocky mountains are known for their dolomitic limestone. More to come...Thanks for looking. Ciao from Doug!

What wonderful detail and clarity in this beautiful scene. I dream when I look at a picture like this. How amazing those mountains look. The closest things to mountains we have are speed bumps!
