That suns burn out is not disturbing, Doug. It makes this wonderful sunset image even more realistic to me. See that our friend Owd Bob has another opinion about that. That's his good right. Think it's just a matter of taste. Thanks for this very fine and moody posting!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
This is so stunning! Breathtaking comes to my mind. Faved! I will try not to eat too much today, and I'm thankful for my good friends here on Caedes. Tigs♥ =^..^=
Really stunning sunset image Doug - love the ripples in the clouds that are still left. My family has gone out for Thanksgiving the last few years - nobody is saddled with all the work that way.
This is a very beautiful sunset, very well composed showing the tip of land with the lighthouse and taken just at thee right moment when the sun is not too bright - before the sea swallowed it :)
Terrific scene and looks so peaceful a setting
