Lovely partially silhouette and stunning detail plus I do like the light and shade in this capture and the haze that hangs over the city it give this scene a lovely feel and brings over the point of a dull rain day.Plus very nice composition as well.

I think this is perfect Doug!..The figure/umbrella is the focal point and really catches the eye! ... any 'other' adornments would have superfluous!...

Even if your wife didn't have had an umbrella, one could have seen that's a dreary and rainy day.

This image exudes very well the proper atmosphere to meet the contest subject, so an excellent entry to me Doug.
