A beautiful face, well captured, well framed. Nice color choices.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Being the bird enthusiast that I am ... I can't help but enjoy this image. Beautiful closeup. The focus on the face of the falcon is wonderful. I don't know what put this magnificient bird into rehab, but your capture makes me think he's progressing well. Just a great photo Marietha.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

I met this falcon in the voting booth first, and I couldn't figure out for the life of me what kind of bird it was. I only knew that it had been captured superbly, so I gave it a ten and came straight here to find out more..congrats..it's a keeper, Marietha ;)

Marietha ... I first want to commend you for making these particularly poignant shots of our 'friends' who have found their way onto the Moholoholo Rehab Center.

I have been peeking in on your work and images from time to time (apologies for not having left words then and there) ... and love the narratives that usually accompany your images. They serve to remind me that we have encroached on so much natural territory and forced situations on the creatures that grace our planet. Now then ...

Wonderful shot.

I recall your first few posts and even they were quite good, but, now ... it's hard to distinguish your work from the sites' resident heavyweights.

Your 'eye' was always there at the outset ... and for the past while, your technical proficiency is exhibiting itself. Well done.

And but of course ... thank you for sharing. :o)
