A more zoomed out shot of the same Elephant I've posted yesterday.I was about 4 meters from the big giant and just realise once again how small and weak we are compare to them. What a majestic animal this is.. Comments welcome.. and thanx for popping in.

It could be a scene from an NG documentary. I think you did here a professional job. It is a valuable shot as we are able to shoot these majestic giants only in the Zoo. Great you shared with all of us. You must live in an amzing country. Happy Easter to you.

This is a lovely capture of a gentle giant, although I must admit I wouldnt want him stepping on my toes!
Seriously, this is an amazing photo and framed perfectly with good colour. Well done!

Really well done Marietha.

Of the two, I prefer this one ... to my eyes, and no play on words intended here ... the composition works a bit better. Which could be simply a case of introducing the surrounding foliage for a couple of reasons.

Provides a natural inset framing and certainly keeps our collective eyes on this wonderful animal's most ... most soulful facial feature.

Suggestion ... lower the opacity of your outside framing a tad. Good colour for your composition, but ... in my very humble opinion ... draws a little too much visual attention not quite in keeping with what I perceive the mood and feel of your photo to be.

And but of course, thanks for sharing this one with us. I enjoy it very much. Good clarity, good colour saturation, good composition ... well done. :o)

p.s. Good exposure as well.
