I love animals and just realised again tonight how fortunate we are in South Africa to have these lovely animals living free in the parks when i saw Rokh's "CAPTIVITY" picture. I visited a zoo at the weekend and I sensed they were not happy being enclosed like a lot of the animals there. This capture seems to show a certain relaxed freedom which it is enjoying. Quite a contrast indeed! Lovely capture Marietha - well done!

Yes your very fortunate to be able to see this. I cannont tolerate zooz - I find them so depressing. This is just wonderful and shows a natural shot at its grandest.

I watched Rokh's "CAPTIVITY" picture as well, but what a difference Marietha. I agree that you are fortunate to live in a country where these animals can live free in wildlife parks.

The giraffes that reside in the US wouldn't have a natural habitat and beautiful as this to reside in, Marietha. They are much better off in your parks. Really nice shot.
