Found this duck in a nursery/teagarden. Not sure what kinda duck it is.. but he was so pretty.. just couldn't resist... hopey ou enjoy it

Marietha, I agree with you this is really a very pretty male duck of some sort. Really great close up work. Great job & he does have beautiful colours.

Marietha this is a beautiful portrait of this duck. If you were in Norht America i would say this is a Wood Duck..but not sure they are in South Africa...gerry

Would say it's a mandarin duck, but it doesn't have the proper colours. Wonderful capture anyhow Marietha.

Very nice photo. It's a male mandarin duck without a doubt, but he looks a bit unhappy and not very healthy to be honest (or getting rather old) hence the duller colours in his plumage. :(
