it's been a great week for clouds here!!! need a better camera to get a better capture so you can fully enjoy the view!

Yes, a better camera could produce a wee more detailed image!! The 1/2 MP you're using seems, well, kinda lacking if I may be so bold. Fantastical cloud formation!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
The cloud formation is excellent. I agree that a better camera would do greater justice to this image and the composition. The best thing about the composition, however is the over-saturated clouds which gives them a nice tone. A nice capture nonetheless!!

The JPEG compression is set WAY too high or you stretched a tiny image too far, which is what gives the blocky appearance. In some ways it lends to the odd colorization that makes the image appealing, but the lack of fine details is too distracting and causes it too look like a poor quality photo.

Sorry, but I think the pixelation, jpeg artifacts, and over-saturation are distracting.
