From the title I too expected to see something other than this Ed. A living plant growing out of a dead tree is however quite interesting and also deserves the title. Nice clean shot!

The green fern looks good growing out of the tree that lost life and limb. I can remember those old movies and everyone screaming like crazy. Good times if you had a date or you weren't too scared. lol

I always have enjoyed ferns and the loveliness they offer. I remember my mom having some in the bathroom (they seemed to really like the steam) Nicely done and thanks for those links. That was some old horror movie! Lol! ♪ ♫ :)sandi♪ =^..^=

There's a statement. They like moist places and the dead tree provided that and some fertilizer too and out grew these really pretty ferns, Ed. I like this nature shot. Faved.
