I live in an old city that has many interesting fences (some with filials knocked off by cannon in the Civil War). I have amassed a lot of fence pictures, none of which make me particularly happy. I have concluded that a fence is a difficult thing to photograph, particularly if it is in a straight line and you are not high above it. The narrow picture here is one solution to the problem of getting most of the fence in sharp detail.
