Absolutely beautiful Rita! Love the old mill, scenery, ducks and the wonderful ripple in the water!! The B&W is great.

This is really quite nice the way it Rita!!! A very beautiful scene with good color and balance. I did download a copy of it and run it through "easyHDR BASIC 2" with a bit of enhancement but this is wonderful the way it is:):)I can show you the 'diff' if you're interested but it's subtle:)

In my humble opinion, the contrast is just right. This is what I try to achieve when I do a black and white...which isn't very often. Excellent work, Rita.

Great composition, pin sharp, and the BW is perfect so all in all a stunning image. Top marks and well done.

It looks good this way Rita. I think I saw this mill in a John Denver, "Take Me Home, Country Roads," video the other day.
Cool post.

This lends itself perfectly to B&W... Lookin' good to me! I like the sense of movement in the small ripples the ducks are making.

Lovely detail, perfectly focused, unique subject...AND a couple of ducks! I wonder what it would look like in sepia...??

Hello Rita...Outstanding image...This " old medium" works so well with this old mill...Black and white photographs rely so much on shadows to define shapes and details and in this scene you have that...A little more contrast would help to increase the shadows (only a little tweak)..Most of my portrait photos are done in black and white...This picture is indeed a pleasure to view...Well done...All the very best to you Rita.....Mick.

Spectacular B/W capture, gorgeous scene, really like the ripples of the water. I don't think it needs more contrast, I love it the way it is
