A frequent visitor at the local trout hatchery. I could not get close, shot with a Canon 7d Mark 2 with a Canon 100-400 lens at a focal length of 375.... fstop 5.6. My ISO was 1250. It was taken just before dusk. I hope my excitement, enthusiasm and thrill can make up for the poor quality! :)

It's a great shot of the eagle Rita - you got him at a good angle and in profile - his crop looks a bit full, perhaps he recently had a trout for dinner - Excellent Capture!!!

You just can't go wrong with eagle photos and you did very well, Rita. Such a majestic bird as he is perched up in that tree. Fantastico!

Rita, one has to realize that the conditions were very difficult (dusk, distance, and a 'nervous' subject). Taken this into account, I like to say that you've achieved the best possible result. Compliments my friend. Thanks for this wonderful image!

I'd say, it's a colossal shot considering the early evening time.

You got a grande picture for all you had to put up with to get it. It really doesn't look bad considering the high ISO. Glad just to get such a worthy shot Rita I bet.

A good capture of the eagle, Rita. Nice details, colour tones and lighting in the photo. Adding some contrast will help bring back some of the shadows in the scene.
