This photo was taken when i was at "Audobon House". Yes, it was another plantation. LOL. A town near where I live(St. Francisville) has a "Pilgrimage" every year. What that means is all the old homes, churches, and plantations are open for tours, and foods being cooked in the old slave quarters like they were at one time. Anyway, i cam across this far feathered friend, and took his picture. I thought his colors were really pretty.

A NOTE TO ALL MY FRIENDS: I WILL BE COMMENTING LESS ON PEOPLE IN MY “FRIENDS” LIST SO AS TO MAKE TIME FOR VIEWING ALL “NEW IMAGES” AND ENCOURAGING OTHER PEOPLE OF WHOM I MAY NOT KNOW OR ARE NEW TO THE SITE. I WILL STILL VIEW EVERY IMAGE OF MY FRIENDS AND STILL COMMENT ON SOME IF I CAN GIVE A GOOD CRITIQUE OR MENTION WHAT I LIKE OR FEEL IS REALLY WORKIN’ WELL IN THE IMAGE. AS FAR AS MY IMAGES IF YOU HAVE A COMMENT ON HOW I CAN IMPROVE AN IMAGE I REALLY WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THAT SO AS TO LEARN AND BETTER MYSELF.

I love your pictures of the plantations and this one in particular. I hope to see more of them. Your Tom seems to be at a crossroads and must make a decision soon! Very nice capture, Nancy.

I like this shot. I don't think of it too often how nice a turkey is. So thanks for this reminder. The perspective is great here, too. Have a great weekend.

That's the bird I think of for Thanksgiving and I've never seen one like it!
