Good Fractal...You might want to try simply mirroring the image so it's clear of the menu icons...

Very cool fractal, and i agree with Jhihmoac that if this was to be a background to windows, the shape should probably be on the other side. Keep the awesome fractals coming!

Waaaay better than anything I can do. And simple enough to provide a positive accent to any desktop. However, having the design on the left and using windows--with the icons on the left--does detract from the artwork. Maybe posting a 'mirror' version of it could make it more user friendly.
