Caught my eye in the new images gallery and brought me in for a closer look.
Really like the way you have the amphitheatre represented in the frame. Think ... think, though ... that the inclusion of the right hand tree crowds the composition some. It's a great pop of vibrant and contrasting colour ... perhaps, just a bit too much. Literally, and in my very humble opinion of course.
Challenging lighting conditions. You did well in terms of getting enough detail in the shadows and in the light. Some slightly overexposed areas.
Be curious if you did any post-sweetening? The reason I ask is that some of the colours look a tad processed. The sky in particular. Tone down, or cut back on the cyans and magenta would be my thoughts here. Colour Balance? Selective Colour adjustment? Not sure.
Gimme your Sobey's Grocery manager's email addy and I'll send you my take from Photoshop Central.
Just kidding. :oP
Good shot in summary. And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us. :o)
I sure like the angle of the architecture, the colours and the sunlight...very very nicely done.I like the shaded areas a lot. Thanx so much for a great photo, I never knew what this place looked like til now. Verena
