A wonderful picture Nigel. The use of the wet sand for the reflection is amazing. You and Jan obviously had a blast down by the sea and have the fantastic images to prove it.

The truth is, you really should see My Gallery.
Wow...looks like the Universe is just expanding and expanding away from us...and no matter how far we walk towards civilization we will never get there -- that's the feeling I got from this shot! LOL
Seems the only limitation to the view is that the earth must begin to curve where the horizon lets off. Such pretty shades of blue and orange of sky and water. Looks like it might have been a tad cold. Quite pretty, Nigel.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.

i thought i had commented on this, in fact im sure i did, but oh well!! lol... i love that cloud, i took quite a few of this scene myself although mine is much darker than this. its an amazing view isnt it, it seems to go on forever and be totally empty. gooooooorgeous.
Nigel, I like this one much better. I think it's the light airiness of this scene at daybreak ... like a new day has just begun. I feel as if I'm breathing in the whole scene. My eyes lead me across the sky reflected water & sand to that gorgeously colored horizon & sky.
Outstanding capture Nigel ... looks like you & Jan had the perfect day for shooting with your cam's.
K - one more deep breath & then into my faves! :-)
Ooooooo this is like eating sherbet! All the soft flavors are in the sky...apricot, orange, lemon, peach, cantaloupe, tangerine, pineapple, and even mango...and that gorgeous bloo in the sky...absolutely delightful!! Saving this for sure. Thank you so much Nigel. Verena
The colours and reflections make this an absolute winner for me, and like the way you've ignored the thirds rule here, and think you were spot on going for the half split instead. A truly stunning image Mr M. Worth logging back in just to comment on this picture, for which my lateness I apologise!!!
Nice colour in this and the mirror image is very, very good indeed.
All the best to you my friend and roll on THE UK GET TOGETHER.
Mark.
