(Main) Abstract->Fractal
Lauren posted a gorgeous flame the other day, entitled "Therein Lies Madness?" I was so moved by it, I asked her if I could do a collaboration piece with it, and she graciously gave me permission. Thank you, Lauren! When I look at fractals, I start seeing things inside them. Here's an example of something a little more sinister that was lurking in this flame (Link). We hope you enjoy. Wow ! Nathan this is incredibly beautiful ! I love the framing, the jewels & the blue accent is absolutely perfect. You did a fantastic job on this, just like I knew you would ! Hello to Nathan and Lauren, oh my, oh my, to you both for sharing with us, such a blend of extraordinary talents! This is positively the prettiest of combined efforts in the realm of artistry I have ever seen! Words are inadequate to describe my appreciation for this piece! I can't critque this image intellectually, but I have decided, I don't have to, and that it is unneccessary to do so! Great job you guys. I love the composition and flow of the image. My only critiques are the middle jewel is a tad big, but on the flip-side, the jewels color seems to blend into the background. For a larger variety on color, I would bring some of the blue hues of the fractals into the jewels. But, as you know, I tend to pick on the smallest things, and both of my critiques are personal preference and despite it, I love what turned out =)
