the huge cloud formation with its wonderful color is what immediately gets your attention. then you look closer for the details at the bottom of the picture. the clouds on the right give balance which is just perfect. beautiful effort!!! jen
My Canon EOS Rebel has a digital graph that displays in the viewfinder and on the back of the camera when I put it into manual mode. In low light situations, pressing partway on the shutter release will show a black rectangle somewhere on the graph. Rotating a vertical knob next to the release button will move the rectangle to one side or the other. When the rectangle is in the middle of the graph I know the camera is going to make the best use of the available light. I used it on my "July Rain: Days' End" photo and was able to get all the clouds, even the ones over the waning sun, without any noticeable grain. I love it.
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
