Jewel doesn't begin to describe it. Stunning, wonderful, terrific and dare I say awesome (you have to have done something extra special for me to break down and give out that one). Looks like quite a hurricane off Mexico. Great concept, wonderfully executed. Hope I get to see in VB.
You are a jewel in the Ceades belt indeed Nathan. And everyone here seems to realise that.
But I am not sure that all of us humans regards that blue ball inlay as such...
Anyway, beautifull craftmanship!

Are you tired, yet, of praises being heaped upon your humble head? <g> GREAT work with this, Nathan. I'm really partial to the blue-ness, and I think using the earth as a jewel in the setting is nothing less than inspired. We need to remember what a precious commodity we've got -- both you AND the planet!
ah, you are making me crazy with so much visual candy!!! These are incredible and yes, I like the blue shaded ones best! There is something mystical, and contemplative and I'm getting itchy to get creative again - your pieces always have that effect!!! Thanks!

I'm behind in my comments again. I just want you to know that I've viewed this image and found it to be very nice. I've enjoyed viewing it and thank you for posting it. Have a wonderful holiday season.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Yes indeed, another work from the master creator. This is fabulous piece combining the brilliant dark blues and greens of the earth with the warmer pearlish hues. Wonderful.
