This was taken near Bear Dance, Montana, as we took a drive around Flathead Lake. Here on the Central Coast of California, hay comes in bales. I thought the rolled hay made for a good photo op.
Another very good addition of this series, Roger. In the past, hay and straw were pressed into rectangular bales, but nowadays they are everywhere (including in my country) round bales. I have no agricultural knowledge to know why this form was chosen. I don't really care either. Because what fascinates me however is, witness your fine capture, that they are photogenic objects now.
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

We see more round ones here also - this is nice to see an uncovered one. We have a lot of them bound in plastic. This is a great photo with good perspective
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
