Took this pic a couple years ago at the Reno Air Races. I wish I could remember this pilot's name, but he was an excellent stunt performer. One of his highlights is purposefully losing an ailerons and continuing on with the show.

The pilot is an old guy in coveralls. I saw him at Oshkosh last year. A good performer. Nice photo and a good composition.

I was asked to give a comment re this pic. Here's an amateur's honest viewpoint down below.
The subject is eye-catching as it immediately arouses the viewer's curiosity. The clarity is very good. The colours are a bit dull, sharper colours would certainly bring this good pic to a new life ( in Photoshop, increase the saturation and contrast, then sharpen the image. I have already done so and if you like, I can e-mail the final image to you for comparison). The framing is not ideal but I do realize that action shots are not always easy to frame ideally.
Overall, I think it's a good shot. I'd give it one green light and two amber ones.
