The Space Shuttle Endeavour shortly after its landing on October 12 1994, at Edwards, California, to complete mission STS-68. Endeavours ground crew break from their duties to watch as Columbia arrives from the Kennedy Space Centre, in preparation for six months of inspections, modifications, and systems upgrades. Usual CS3 & Noise Ninja clean ups.

That must be quite a sight to behold...especially if you had nay part in assembling/preparing the Space Shuttle. Your hard work and determination to find interesting images regarding trips to space and the part of space that we are mostly unaware of intrigues me Phil. I am duly impressed and grateful for all you do.

This is a fascinating shot. Rarely do we get such a close view of the shuttles. Thanks for posting. A good one.
