There always seems to be some sort of bug on the flowers I take pictures of. :P

I think the bugs always add a bit of realism to flower shots. This one is still beautiful in black and white. Nice job.

I like the bug, it is not obvious at all until you look at the flower in detail. The impact of the flower, so well represented in M&W, the use of focus and shadows is so good that the bug is almost another viewer of the flower, taking in its beauty.
I do think the petals are a touch over exposed, which happens depending on the colour of the flower. If you set the ev down a touch when you take flower images this might help.
Still, a beautiful B&W picture.
