I would say this is a great example of the mountains. I lived in Marion NC a few years ago and I miss it so much. I try to get back as often as I can to visit friends and family. You're making me homesick looking at this. Straight into my favs. Thank you :)

Great capture of those beautiful Smokey mountains. I love to gaze at them whenever we are near them. I really like the graduated light and colors as the mountains get darker, the sky appears lighter. It is almost as if the sky & mountains become one~ good job with using the trees as a frame. It gives this image even more depth. I am downloading this into my caedes.net slideshow folder. Thanks for posting it :~)

Incredible mist veil over the mountains ranges. It makes the panorama so picturesque and mood-inspiring. The only thing which distracts my attention are the tree branches on the right, maybe it would be useful to remove them from the photo, cause they are too scarce to create a border. High marks anyway.
