I can't even imagine being in such a beautiful place. I'm glad you captured it so perfectly so we could all enjoy it. It's now my desktop too, so thanks for that. I like most the angle at which you were facing, relative to the sun. The whole left side seems to fade off into the ether. Beautiful.
Excellent pastoral image with a great depth of focus. I like how you can just pick out the sheep in the far field. This is a definite fast-track candidate for the permanent galleries. 10/10 from me, Pierre.
Well, it appears you are standing on all fours;-0 Very nicely captured fall morning Pierre. I love the light that is falling on the bull. My better half gives a thumbs up as well:-)
Now Pierre! I hope that animal didnt have to chase you and make you run!!! I completely adore this photo. IT takes me back to when I lived near London for a while when I was young. My Mom and I had gone to Barnum and Bailey Greatest Show on Earth(circus) and then we decided to take a short-cut to our home...we went across a field in very thick thick fog..when suddenly we saw a bull standing near us!! IT scared us, we began to run...went jumping over a small barbed wire fence. got some scratches for sure..but we made it..the bull never even moved..LOL...The colour and light in your photo is so perfect. High marks from me my friend!!
Darryl stole my comment !!! This image has fantastic lighting, colours and atmosphere. And you are quite handsome, do not listen to what people say ! LOL
"Pity? It was pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play yet, for good or ill before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many."- "I wish the Ring had never come to me.
I wish none of this had happened..." "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."-Gandalf
Great idyllic capture of the pastures shrouded in the morning mist. Yes the depth of focus is impressing. Apart from technique, it is just the atmosphere you succeeded to show us! Excellent job Pierre. It is great there are people from whom we still can learn a lot.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority.
Good heavens, this was posted in 2005? Well, I have never seen it prior to it coming up on the front page. I think it deserves far more than it got. What a restful feeling one gets from just staring at and studying this image. Well done. It's a keeper.
