I would loooove to visit Switzerland...maybe someday...til then I rely on the great photography of you and others to bring the beauty of that country to me...and of course you have not disappointed with this wonderful view and quaint old church...thanks for sharing...marvellous capture.:Pat.
The curves and shapes in this photo make it very interesting. Well composed and a fascinating sight indeed! I'd love to see the inside of that church - were you able to take any photos there? It looks like it has a long history behind it. - Patty
How beautifully composed this Pierre! The church appears to be nestled right on the crest of a small hill.....I love the mountains? behind it and how the external structure of the church is detailed here. Another "room with a view". Thanks for sharing this one as well! :~)
Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust."
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day;
6 nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.....
How nice, the church is nicely situated against the dark background of mountain greenery. Stunning view Pierre. I bet you must have took thousands of photos...
I must admit I am eaten up with jealousy.
