Very pretty composition but I think I would have made the background a very dark contrasting color to make the beautiful flowers stand out! :)

I agree.....a very deep burgundy/black would have made a great contrast to these lovely flowers. But.... nice job!

I don't agree with the above - the background works just fine for me.

However I'm not sure I'm sold on the soft focus, as the subject and hues are romantic enough to carry a crisper focus.
