I took this shot yesterday while walking my dogs at the lake. Not only did we get caught in a downpour, but the wind mysteriously was in my face the entire walk around the lake.
I know these shots of clouds and weather probably don't inspire much curiosity in you, but after nearly a decade of drought and cloudless skies, these clouds for a Californian rival Yosemite for their beauty.

I think these captures of bold, deep, and ever so dramatic, well done Dorothy! Hmmm? seems like the wind should have been behind you at some point, a question left to the imagination. :) tigs=^..^=

This turbulent sky is something and I like the way the sun is filtering through onto the water and the landscape , nicely captured.. Your dogs probably liked the bath even though you didn`t.

Looks like real bad weather - All the greenery below the clouds helps to improve that gloominess a little. Nice and moody image.

Can't tell if it is the rain or the wind that gives the water the effect it has, but it is a terrific capture.

Very dramatic and very amazingly weather conditions for the 'sunshine state', Dorothy. Perfectly captured (and edited) anyhow. Hope that your dogs and you have found a shelter, because an umbrella wouldn't be that helpful when the storm breaks loose.
