I wonder if there is a way to tell how old a squirrel is by looking at his face? This one has the expression of an older, wiser squirrel than some you see running around, and also he was smart enough to stay still and pose for you...lol...oh, did I mention the great clarity on this shot...???

The coloring around his mouth make him very expressive. Seems like he is full of woe. Great clarity as always; terrific color. Thanks for sharing.

Perfect post and wonderful clarity. Like the detail on the bark of the tree as well. Excellent job.

That Canon lens is really impressive! The clarity is so great at the distance. He looks like a lookout.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

It almost looks as if you have drawn in an expressive mouth with the dark coloring as it is. That is a nice shot friend.

this angle is so different than many of the others. that's one of the things i really like about it. of course, it has many virtues in addition to that.
