I stepped out on my deck and saw the full moon and took this shot. For those interested I used a 600mm lens with a 2x converter attached to my Canon 7d II.

I was fortunate to see the harvest moon last night, Friday, September 13 - It was amazing and so is your shot Robert - Excellent Capture!!!!!!!!!!! In 2000 on Friday 13th, we had a harvest moon - the last one will occur in the year 2049 on August 13 - the harvest moon is the full moon closet to the autumnal equinox or the beginning of fall.

Great job with this shot, I don't know where you are in Iowa, but here up in the Northeast we had clouds so didn't get a chance to get any photos. Thanks for sharing.
