It was a very cloudy and overcast day when I took this picture. But, there was a little sunlight sneaking through the clouds. The background was brighter, but I thought darkening it would bring out the flowers soft beauty better. Seems like the light is comming from the flower, hence the name I gave the picture.

I haven't a criticism of this at all, but I just wanted to comment on how lovely it is, and I think that the technique you used to obtain it is something that worked very well. It reminds me of a person praying :)PJ

What a lovely title for this capture. The glow from the flower is enchanting. Appreciate your narration telling about how you dealt with this bloom. It seems to be reaching out to capture all the light possible. The background is soft and lovely for this pretty flower. This is an amazing shot Dean. Top marks for you!!
