My only suggestion would be to darken or remove the little "thing" on the bottom right of the photo. Whereas the legs are out of focus and add depth to the image, the little "thing" is a bit distracting.
This is a really good study of light and shadow. Black and white photography is all about detail IMO, and you were obviously paying attention to that when you took this. VEry nice work.
Very striking. I agree with all the critiques except for maybe the pinky. The image would lose its character if the fingers weren't and a bit contorted as they are, which you probably wouldn't get with all four fingers out of playing position on the fret board. To paraphrase Charlton Heston, this says to me "...only from my cold, dead, and moderately arthritic hand."
Fantastic shot. The composition and lighting are superb. This pic reminds me of photos from the '30s and '40s of big band players, it has a similar atmosphere. Full marks.
Hi i just wanted to say that i like this picture a lot.... I think its original, how it kinda shows a plate on the ground it looks a little more realistic i think.........i just really like it, i guess because it shows realism (if thats a word) and kinda a different flow of emotions
