very nice overlay effects

The ribbons are pretty cool, but what I like best are the twisting smaller ribbons of light inside of them. The detail is so nice in this image....the 3D effect is sweet, too. Great gradient for the star.

It's Gotham City .. Crime is running rampant and only Starman can stop it .. so the mayor of Gotham City steps to his console and flips back the lid .. and brings his stogey clenching fist down on the button ... the button that illuminates the Starman beacon across the uneasy night sky

Meanwhile, across town, Starman has just coaxed a well drawn cartoon babe back to his apartment .. and, while pulling the window shades down to provide the desired privacy, notices the 'Starman beacon' blazing in the misty dark sky ... without hesitation starman continues to draw the blinds all the way down .. and turning to his guest

"So .. what would you like to drink, my dear"
