John, dear friend, I do not care if autumn makes one a little nostalgic or gloomy ! With such loads of beauty it can be whatever he/she/it wishes [in POlish autumn is female for instance] LOL
John, you've brought me, to a certain extend, in troubles. I'll explain: I'm using your image 'Palette' up till now as my desktop wallpaper, but think this one is even better for that purpose. So I have to save this one too, giving me the opportunity to make a proper choice. Dont'have to say anymore that it's a stunning image! (lol). Regards, Cornelius
Great autumn shot. I think I recognize the plant. Pretty sure its a vine that you'd see covering University buildings. Am I right? (love close up guessing games)
I appreciate the shine you got on this whole mini series of the ivy on the building. We have similar plants here, and they do look so nice when they turn in the fall. Thanks for finding these!!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
An excellant study of color and texture, light and dark. The composition is well thought out and stunningly presented. I had the honor of giving this a ten and wanted to stop by and say how terrific this work of art truly is.
