Nice shot. I really like the cloud formations. That also looks like a nice little donck to gos out on. Good work.

God's magnificent creation is full of beauty waiting to be captured - when you think you've seen it all, something you've never seen comes up and amazes you. 3-5-7 forever

Your title is very apt. Definitely silver and a very nice composition.

The sparkle on the water always grabs my attention. With the foreground grasses, I feel like I am eavesdropping on this beautiful scene.

Great shot! Love the sky, the reeds, and the angle from the dock. Turned out really well.

Nice use of the diagonals of the dock's line compositionally John. A well done on that aspect in including that element as you have presented it to us.

And you certainly took on a challenge, what with the exposure considerations. That said, it is a pleasant view and you did well with all the considerations that are present environmentally.

If I may be so bold, the water's a bit overexposed on some of the reflections. Artistic licence, perhaps? Which I can respect and as mentioned above, it does create a 'jewelled' look.

Might have been tempted ... and this said without the benefit of having been there ... to come around to the left somewhat. As much as the shrub/tree on the right provides some natural framing ... combined with the vertical lines of the reeds(?) ... results in some ... some, visual confusion. Think ... in my very humble and novice opinion ... compositionally, I would have preferred to be able to see the dock without as much of the foreground elements as prominent as presented to us now.

Having said that, Cindy's take above ... is a good one. It is as if we are peeking in on this little treasured scene. So ...

... thank you for sharing this one with us. I do appreciate it's beauty. And my above words are simply some food for thought. Nothing more. :o)
