Two petals are starting to open up in a welcome mode not unlike arms outreaching. Two petals are still closed almost like they have their arms folded in defiance. The drop represents questions without answers of it all. The colors are soft which means there is hope and no anger. Tear from Heaven?? It is what you choose it to be. Tears are shed both in joy and sorrow. Very nice post Rich. Have a good weekend.

Oh, my fave color in flowers. A beautifully captured tulip Rich. Like Tick mentioned, tears can represent so many different forms of emotion. Tear of heaven? ... yes, but I also look at tears as a way of cleansing ones own inner soul. Fantastic work.

I am a tulip fan, and I like this one. I'm no expert on tears, but you are probably right about it being a tear from heaven. Very nice, Rich.

It could be. A tear from heaven I mean. Another beautiful close up with this very pretty tulip, so different in character from the yellow and red one of your other post and from a different angle too. I love the title too, of course. :)

The tulip is pretty good but maybe you should have cropped out that blurry and ugly background
