Missing so much bark, the exposed wood has weathered stripes. I fear, with so little bark, the tree is doomed, as evidenced by some rot on the lower left.

This careworn tree looks like driftwood...beautiful and graceful. My suggestion for the tree is for you to offer to take it off the hands of whomever owns it and harvest the wood. Oiled, it will make very interesting objects if you enjoy carving things. You could sell a LOT of salad bowls from this multi-colored trunk! The pic is interesting, if vertical. Nice color, unusual subject, good light management.
