Huuuummmm well ummmm kinda don't know just, well mucking around in Paint.Net again. Have tried Industrial picture manips before the Big C did not always favor them. So instead of making what I like, well though I could try what I think others might like. But its still Dark Doom and Gloom Loolllll......... hoop you enjoy.

Rob - It is an impressive work - I'm not sure you should be breathing that air, however! The dried reeds on the foreground rock bank sets the stage for the industrial scene in the upper section. The acrid-looking smog ties it all together. Now, my eyes are burning and my lungs ache from being in this image! Terrific work! Thad

I like the detail in the river bank and your choice of coloration. Nothing at all toxic about your wonderful play time in Paint.net. Well done and different. Keep pleasing what you like and it doesn't matter about the rest. You will develope a following. I think you already have.

Fraai, zeer fraai! Mich

A great atmosphere in your photo manipulation, Rob. I like the colours and lighting in the scene. A nice perspective and composition.

I have been coughing ever since this came on the screen. I will put up with the cough so I can enjoy all the work you did and the eerie coloring. I am getting tired. All that smoke is exhausting me. :)

o wow, you really out did yourself with this one, although I am curious as to what you don't like (personally) about this image. Maybe the fantasy element? I noticed your other pictures have a real darkness to them and this one has a noticeable and "accepted" depiction of industrial... could be making this up but I do like this fantasy/artistic wasteland... from a far far away distance

how can one use letters, words or prose against its own institution? is it not to say that this accepted alphabet can portray intolerable thoughts against itself; the reflection of these words represent the meaning of ones mindless inquiry, generalizing became this text. . .read the marks behind a letter of assurance/ freedom is jailed within. . ." _ EaB

One of the best "Darth" shots I've seen in months, Rob. The atmospheric conditions look wonderful for a picnic on Venus. Excellent manipulation to create this surreal look. And aptly titled. 9 out of 10 for me.
