Looks like a big grasshopper,or some kind of dinosaur.And i guess it makes the harbot work much more easy that 100 years ago.Superb photo.

Great picture of this shipyard, Rob. Of course, there were ship building yards all over NE in earlier days. We even had a submarine building factory in New London. Nice details of this monster and I love that you caught the little gull behind the sign as well.

I can't help but wonder if the submarine factory was underwater or not. That is one big hoist Rob. It looks like a new fangled condo. Wouldn't make a bad one.

I don't know about you Rob, but that's too many flights of stairs to climb every day to get to work. I'll get a lift with the crane. A good clear photo of the cargo crane. A nice angle in the photo with the way things are lined up and great colours in the shot. Great job!
