Filthy, smelly, gritty, dirty. When I saw the title of your posting on my friend's list, I couldn't wait to see your contest concoction. You didn't disappoint me at all, Rob. The textures are deadly. The colors are covered in a layer of grime. The graffiti is a great touch. How do you find these places? I would fear for my life walking around these dilapidated industrial facilities. The old windows are almost completely opaque from the soot. I truly love this image. There's plenty of moss and rust to keep me happy for a week. Sensational posting. Faves from me on probably my 2nd favorite shot you've ever posted. Congratulations on a winner.
I'm surprised the neighbours haven't complained about the drab and dreariness of your home, Rob. I can see you started to paint the walls, but I would think a more cheery colour other than toxic green would be a better choice.
A good capture of the old industrial site, Rob. A nice atmosphere and good details in the photo. Best of luck in the contest.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
