Rob, by your perfect way of colorization (you haven't even forgotten to color in a dosed way the man's right ankle) one might think that the bus trip could be a pleasure for these people, but the worn shoes of this man tell a little bit less pleasant story. Pure misery however.
To me a, to a certain extent, touching image, and a perfect addition to this 'Stepping out of time' series.
Very well done again, my friend!

Oh those boots are heartbreaking and the young lad's footwear does not look to flash either.
A moving picture and as always given more life by your work

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

This gives a better glimpse as to what life was like in the past than all the posed pictures. Too often we see the past through rose-colored glasses and forget the poverty that was prevalent, at least, compared to our own standards.

It would be interesting to know why editors killed the photo and buried it. The worn shoes on this gentleman are sad to view.
