Russ, this is an excellent creation! One gets pulled into this picture, it's almost hypnotic. Very realistic looking. Great colours. Love the dark, almost brooding sky and there are even stars! The mist hanging there, gives it such a mysterious look, just waiting for something to jump from one of those rocks. Well done.
I have to agree with .mmynx34 however i would like to say that the boarder works extremely well with the image. the image makes for excellent desktop and ihave added it to my fav's folder. What program/s was used in the development of the image. I hope that one day I maybe able to design landscapes of this level. Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece of artwork with us.
Superbly fashioned image. The sky is awesome - those spirits are on their way. There's a feeling of expectation to this view. The mountains appear to be closing in & the water looks like it might start bubbling :) Just my imagination going wild! Very well done with a definate mood. Great work :))
I wonder if this mountain range is anywhere near Chernobyl? LOL :) Great image! I love the jagged peaks against that angry sky. And when viewing the larger version for the d/l, I was happy to see all the little stars peeking through the clouds. It's mysterious, dark, intriguing and now part of my personal desktop wallpaper collection. Thanks!
Ephesians 2: 8 & 9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Why did Jesus have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven? And if you had to earn salvation it wouldn't be a gift, it would be a wage. And if you had to be good enough to get saved then how do you know when your there? Questions about Jesus? Send me a personal message.
Wow! where were you here?, congratulations! how did you achieve this? I'm just curious, sorry, it's because i've just taken a basic photography course and i know about this...the minimum...
I really like the brooding atmospheric feel you've created in this. It kind of reminds me of the week I spent on the moons of Sargas 3. Oh, yeah - those were the good times.....
Hey, this just popped up on the front page. Nice one. While maybe a little rough (as in incomplete, unfinished) in technical terms, I'm really digging the mood presented here.
