Thanks to Foxfire66 for his artistic input, it's definitely a better picture because of him. Douglas Fir trees by xFrog & rendered with Terragen 2 (it's finally stable now, Hallelujah). Color and contrast enhanced with Photomatix & Photoshop.

Amazing... You should do artwork for video games. I can picture cresting the hill of a vast MMORPG game and coming upon this scene, all fully explorable... I'd love the game for life. Beautiful! Fascinating! Keep it up!

Had me fooled for a moment... the colors in the sunset gave it away though, pretty though they are they don't seem quite right. Won't be much longer though and we won't know fantasy from reality.

Thanks again. The colors are purely an artistic choice and I'm not always trying for the reality we see around us. I do however, want to achieve photographic quality in whatever strange landscape pops up. A believable weirdness.
