The MP-E 65 macro lens has an extremely thin DOF, but the parts that are in focus are razor sharp. The upside to the focus limitation is the gorgeous bokeh, or background blur, it produces. These flowers are about the size of a thumbnail, but only two inches of separation gives the background flower the creamy texture you see.
